Jay and Katherine Wolf with Ken and Joni TadaMarried only a few years and with a brand-new baby, things were looking up for Jay and Katherine – especially with Katherine's new modeling career. But one day, a massive brainstem stroke changed everything. Not long ago, I interviewed this remarkable couple on a "Joni and Friends" radio program, but their story is so incredible, you really must see their amazing video (and share it with your Facebook friends). Can marriages survive a devastating life-altering disability? Katherine and Jay believe that through the power of God's Word, hope is within reach! Let me know what you think of their story… or tell them yourself at

Joni, Thank you so much for this video. We all have to have hope as we go through life. Maybe not to this magnitude but in some area of our life. I met you in Wichita, Ks. at First Bible Baptist years ago. Doyle Hopper was my pastor and you were very inspiring then as you are now. I PTL for how he has used your life. Thank you for being so willing to serve our wonderful God.

Joni, your testimony, songs & books have inspired me since I was a young girl. This precious story has God's love and grace all over it. Thank you so much for sharing. I will be passing it on to loved ones and friends. 3 young women I know, in particular... one also survived a stroke in her early 30's (she is a mother of 4 and miraculously recovering); one teenager who suffered an accident on a youth retreat and is currently in a wheelchair; and one mom of 4 trying to recover from a recent brain surgery from Chiari malformation (her 8 year old daughter just had the same operation) ... all need to hear this. Please pray for them! They all love Jesus & just need a little extra encouragement. Praise our Mighty God!

Jay and Katherine it is so wonderful to hear how Good God is and that he always delivers us through the storm. My husband and I have been delivered through one crisis after another. However, none quite as large as your crisis. But God reveals that he IS faithful and he ALWAYS has a plan for our lives. Praying and asking for God's continual blessings for your family.

That was incredible! I am so proud of them for keeping their faith & always believing God didn't make a mistake! I have dear friends going through something very similar. They have such incredible faith, as well. These families should talk! I know it would help them. Thank you for sharing this.

Thank you Jay and Katherine, for your testimony. Thank you for allowing us to hear your honesty expression, and above all, you let God be God, and allowed His sovereignty reigns. His name is magnified. May His rod and His staff continue lead you both in the path of life with joy, strength, comfort, and love.
