It's been bustling around Joni and Friends lately…

Hi, this is Joni and, yes, all the work is bearing much fruit for the Lord. For starters, our Wheels for the World team just returned from the Dominican Republic where we fit a record number of pediatric wheelchairs to disabled children (many from the local orphanage)… and 155 adults and children with disabilities opened their hearts to Christ for the first time! Wheels teams are heading off soon to Cuba and Mexico, and our next International Family Retreat will soon be underway in Guatemala. As I've quickened my own pace, it's made me wonder, Am I getting too busy? Listen in for a fresh insight…

Timely word m'friend....and a good reminder this day. It's hard when you have had a 'season of silence' at the hand of 'whatever' to feel so ALIVE (literally!) and to get the balance tipped ever so easily. So as I drew from your strength of your first trip and joyous return (alebiet with 'new quad bod' :0)) I, too, will draw from your wise word well to not 'overdo' and to give myself permission to leave some things 'undone' today!! Hugs!

Gosh I feel so guilty when I hear what is going on and much you all do. I'm 64 suffer from ME, Fibromyalgia and Osteo-Arthritis. My husband who used to be my full-time carer now suffers from Vascular Dementia and everyday seems a struggle just to live through everyday. We are strong Christians Salvationists with the Salvation Army, we pray, read our Bibles, attend Church when we can and talk often about Jesus to who ever will listen but somehow it just doesn't seem enough when I see how folk cope with their disabilities which are worse than mine and yet give so very much more.

thanks for a great reminder, Joni. Plus you are a living example of Jesus-focused service. It was so great seeing you in the Nashville airport after the NRB. You continue to inspire and motivate me. Bless you, sister in the Lord. Kay Barry Philadelphia, PA

Thank you Joni for the message of service. Martha's we become with the busyness of "details" but how wonderful to take the time to sit at His feet to hear His Word, even during the busy work of service. You are such an inspiration for me!

Hi Joni, And just today I was listening to Joni & Friends CD. ♫Let Us Break Bread Together On Our Knees♫ ...it took me back to 5/5/07 with our 21 year old Laurie Dawn in a car accident. I had your CD & as you sang this it took in the suffering of us all & The Ever-Present in time of trouble Jesus. And to listen now just floods my soul with Lamentations 3:19-21 "Remembering mine affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall. My soul hath them still in remembrance, and is humbled in me.This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope." I Love You Joni ((♥)) ♫ JET♫ (in tune with Jesus you are...)

Great reminder to us all, Joni! To be about the business of God is far different than to be about the busy-ness of life. Praising with you about the wonderful success and upcoming missions of the Wheels teams! May God richly bless all their efforts!

I enjoyed this video. Wise words about serving..whether it's serving the Lord or others. Getting my focus where it needs to be will cause me to have a better yield in my service. Thank you. Carol

Hi!! God bless you! I don't have internet at home but I work at Historic Camden on the weekends in Camden, SC, where it is very slow today. I've been viewing your website for about an hour, and I am so happy that you can resume your normal travel schedule and activities in time for the National Day of Prayer!!! We need prayer!!! Have you ever considered praying with Daniel in Chapter 9?? It is a corporate prayer of confession, and I often use it in my prayer time for our nation. "Have mercy on us O Lord, not according to our righteousnesses but according to your mercies and forgivenesses". -Carol
