jean, joni, and janeThese two exceptional young women have been serving at the Joni and Friends International Disability Center for three months now – Jean, on the left, has been working in our visual media department; Jane, with our accounting and special projects department. Being at the IDC has given them a passion for disability ministry, and we are on pins-and-needles to see where God will lead them. Jean's parents were born in Romania (and I encouraged her to consider volunteering with next year's International Family Retreats in Romania). Jane is from China and she is already making plans to return to her country to volunteer with our International Family Retreats there in 2013. Pray for these wonderful sisters in Christ, that God will fling open wide their next, new doors of opportunity. Interested in serving as an intern? Check out our Cause4Life page!

When we dropped by for a visit the other month, we were not only impressed with the ministry of Joni and Friends but also impressed with the smiles of those who worked there. We here at Prayer Breakfast Network remember both your smiles, Jean and Jane and are sure you will be missed. We wish you both well as you faithfully follow the path that God has in store for you both.

Dear Joni I suffer with a degenerating cerebellum and you understand how special a gift these young ladies are giving to the disadvantaged. May the God that cares for us all by his gift in Lord of Lords, Jesus, give them speed and clarity in their quest, life a journey not a destination.

Dearest Jean and Jane - The Lord richly blessed you when He placed you in Joni's capable tutelage, and as He guides you further down the road with Him, trust Him completely to lead you as well as He has done in the past. God bless you both in your ongoing service to Him! You're both beautiful young women - and the Lord is making you more beautiful with each passing day. (hugs), Susan

" How beautiful the feet that bring the Good News"...I also wanted to say taking care of the needs of disabled how truly wonderful that is, to touch physically but with God too...my Mom is disabled and she is always surprised when she is touched or hugged...Jean and Jane what a unique ministry you have, to serve the disabled...Thank you for agape love.
