The Hope Group

On the far left is Jessica Stoop who serves as a docent here at our IDC. She’s pictured with her husband and three children, two boys in wheelchairs, JoJo and Dominick, and little Ali who loves helping out. It seems the whole Stoop family loves helping – recently, they brought their special-needs parent support group called Hope to the IDC for a tour. When I asked Jessica about the purpose of her group, she said, “Parents like us need to connect with other moms and dads of special-needs kids, so our group loves to pray for each other!” After I showed the moms and kids my art studio, I invited them to come to a Family Retreat next year.
