Last year, my family and I went to the Family Retreat in southern Oregon to serve as STMs. We had a great time, my camper was absolutely adorable, and I made some of my best friends there! I also learned a lot about how to act around people with disabilities. Before we went to the camp, I had worked with a girl with down syndrome, so I had a little bit of experience. When I got there, I was excited, but a little nervous. I had never been around so many people with special needs before. After awhile, I had made new friends, which made the week easier for me. Joni, you really inspire me! I have been listening to your radio programs since I can remember, I watched your movie like 10 times the first week we had it, and I wrote you a letter, and received a response, which made me estatic, and it is now hanging in my room, along with the camp pictures! I can't wait to go back to camp next year, and see God working through everyone who attends! God bless you!

Ken and Joni, praying for you right now as you are traveling. May the Lord watch over you both with health, safety, stamina and an overflowing measure of His grace as you faithfully serve Him and others. And yes, Joni, you look good in blue!
