Heart for the Disabled: Day 1

Ryder and SusanThis week we will be telling you a little bit about three families who could use some cheering up. If you want to help us bring joy to these kids and their parents, make a little Valentine, draw a picture, or write down a favorite Bible verse and send it in the mail to:

Joni and Friends – Heart 4 Disabled
PO Box 3333
Agoura Hills, CA 91376

Today’s family is Ryder and Spencer and their mom Susan. Ryder is the big brother and is nine years old. He has a disability (called autism) that makes it very hard to be okay when there are loud noises or when he doesn’t know what is going on. As a little brother, Spencer has a big job to try and help Ryder. Spencer has needs, too, but it can be hard for grownups to help him with them when Ryder needs so much help. Will you make something to help them remember God loves them and will take care of them? Joni and Friends will collect all of the notes and send it to them for Valentine’s Day!
