Joni Eareckson Tada and her husband Ken Tada reading Happy Grams that they received from supportersThis past summer during my long battle against breast cancer, I was tremendously bolstered by the prayers of people who support Joni and Friends (and I bet you are one, too). Just look at this photo of the many friends who wrote me "Happy Grams" back in August -- I was so encouraged by their Bible verses, poems, and words to favorite hymns. So I tip my hat to my many brothers and sisters in Christ who have cheered me on this past year -- you friends really inspire me! And it's why I can head into 2011 with a smile -- I know I'm not alone in this amazing journey. Thank you for praying, friend. And if you’d like to journey more closely with me throughout 2011, I invite you to sign up for my e-devotional at Happy New Year!

Dear Joni, as time goes by we must go through more tribulation.Living in a world that rejects our Lord Jesus,I expect that we will be pushed to the margins of this society. That is my expectation for the coming year. But the good news is the imminent coming of the Lord. That is our comfort and tremendous hope in a world that knows no hope. Happy new year to you and Ken! San

Joni,I have enjoyed your programs and read your book "The God I Love:A Lifetime of Walking with Jesus".I have a favorite scripture to share. When you walk through fire, you shall not be burned, neither shall the flames overtake you Isa. 43:2 It is a way i remind myself of God's Love.He helped me duing a childhood barbecue incident, and brought me out of "the flames"

Hi Joni, I too can testify to your Daily Devotionals and how they have inspired me after I was diagnosed with a rare form of lung cancer earlier this past year. I had always had really good health that the Lord blessed me with, but He has larger plans for me now obviously. So be encouraged and have courage that only the Holy Spirit will bring this new year as we join together to practice for Heaven! Have a blessed and prosperous New Year!

How fun to receive all those encouraging notes! Praising with you and praying for you! I would also add my encouragement to everyone to sign up for your daily devotionals. I have received them for several years and through them you have blessed me and encouraged me too many times to count! May God richly bless you and yours in the New Year!

Dear Joni, Your life is a continual cause of PRAISE to God for me. I'm a past Spruce Lake volunteer. In June 2010, my friend Lois and I 'dropped in' in on Sib and the gang. One of the things that moved Lois was the happy grams. Please accept this belated one from me. I am praying for you and Praising God for you!
