joni and yaling in chinaMeet one of our Joni and Friends' staff leaders, Yaling Wang, who serves as project coordinator for our international outreach. Several years ago, after she embraced Christ as Lord and Savior, Yaling came to us as an intern from the People's Republic of China. When God began opening doors for Joni and Friends to minister to special needs families in China, it was clear we needed Yaling on staff. Her cultural expertise and insight has proved invaluable – in fact, right now we have two Wheels for the World teams delivering wheelchairs, Bibles and Joni books in China; we also are leading a two-day Disability Ministry Training Summit for 50 Chinese pastors! Ask God to open hearts to His Word as our teams minister over the next two weeks in the most populous nation on earth.

Dear Joni, how exciting that JAF is to enter China with all kinds of blessings for the Chinese people. What counts are not high numbers of converts but serious conversion from the heart. It is not the quantity that counts but the quality. And by showing that JAF really wants to help the people in practical things will pave the way for the love of God to touch the hearts of the Chinese. Blessings to JAF, San

Marvelous. Lord, pour out Your most grand blessings upon my sister in China, so that she is strong in her faith, and deep in her affections for You Lord. Jesus, You are what life is all about. Your good news is what we need to tell those who are lost in their sin, in the dark. For the Gospel is the power and light that floods into our dark and callous hearts. Fill Yaling with Your Spirit of love, wisdom, and joy. Amen. Shalom to all.
