There's a Gorilla in the ChurchHow do we as a church reach out to nonbelievers when our numbers are shrinking? According to a recent Pew study, more and more American adults are leaving the church—and that should concern us as Christians. As witnesses and communicators of the Gospel of Jesus, it’s important we take seriously our means of evangelism. The problem is: few among us are addressing this issue. As Marc Stein our Vice President of Field Services, says, “The trend is unmistakable … It’s our 800 pound gorilla.” But you can do something about it. In a blog post for the Christian Leadership Alliance on-line magazine, Marc Stein addresses this very issue, providing you with a practical and powerful strategy on how you can proclaim the Gospel in an effective and innovative manner. It’s time we “reclaim our true identify, and send that gorilla packing!”

Sadly, we are losing people in the body of believers because we are preaching at them instead of teaching them. We have assimilated the traditions of men from the Catholic church and morphed it into the Protestant denominations.
