Go, Lynn, Go!!

Recently my quad-friend Lynn Wheeler wanted to take part in a 5K benefit run (to help needy children in Nashville). Two of her part-time caregivers, Lindsey and Allison, also are student athletes at Trevecca Nazarene University where the benefit-run was being held. To make it to the campus on time, Lindsey and Allison got Lynn up at 5:45 AM. They pushed her the whole 5K and afterward Lynn said, “They gave me such a wonderful gift! I felt like I was running again! I could feel the wind on my face; it was great!” First Corinthians 12:25-26 says, “But God has so composed the body, giving greater honor to the part that lacked it, that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another. If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together.” Way to go Lindsey and Allison… And Lynn, too.
