Our good friend Hyatt Moore came to the IDC last week to present to us his beautiful new oil painting – those outstretched hands reaching to heaven say at all! The Christian Institute on Disability team asked Hyatt to create a painting which would be fitting for the cover of our new Beyond Suffering curriculum. We feel his concept truly captures the heart of our Beyond Suffering course of study. And the original? It will proudly hang in the IDC General Assembly room where staff and visitors alike will be inspired to lift happy hearts and hands to our Savior for his amazing grace! Post a comment and tell us what you think of Hyatt's artwork!

Do you sell prints of this awe inspiring painting? One would be perfect for each of the families of three of my wheelchair-bound friends who have reached their destination of Heaven.

My son, Zachary, was in a wheel chair until the Lord took him home. Zac would always look like he was trying to jump out of his chair -- that man looks like he will stand up any second...it reminds me of my son. I thank God for people that use their gifts and talents for HIS purposes.

I must say this picture touched my heart. Our 19 year old son enjoyed some time on the beach this summer. It had been a very long time since that had happened. The sight of his broken body sharing in something that we so take for granted was overwhelming. The picture of our older children supporting him as he stood in the ocean will not be forgotten. When I saw this pictured I felt it so expressed his feeling of freedom on the beach that day. May God Bless you and your ministry!

Amazing painting I love it so much. It depicts my heart and soul. The wheel chair is there but the worship of our God is much greater. There is beauty in the accepting of who we are before our Risen Lord. Love is Him Lorraine x
