Forgiveness
Perhaps the greatest evidence of the Gospel at work is when we forgive those who have offended us – it’s the whole point behind Christ dying on the cross. When we are able to forgive those who have wronged or slandered us, forgotten or abused us, hurt or wounded us, we are most like our Savior. As we often say in the Lord’s Prayer, “Forgive us our sins [oh Lord], as we forgive those who sin against us.”
It’s the same thing as praying, “Father, please deal with me in my sin, in the same way, I deal with those who sin against me.” Want to hear more?
