Fly-fishing on the Madison

ken fly fishing

Yep, while I’m in Ohio, Ken heads to the Madison River Valley in Montana for a little fly fishing with his best buddies (great meals, Bible and book discussions, fly casting lessons, then wading the Madison to cast for world-class trout). Ken’s become an expert in the art of choosing the right lure that’ll fool fish into thinking it’s a “real” insect. (Reminds me of the way Satan “lures” us into thinking his pleasures provide real satisfaction… but unlike fish, we know the Truth and we will not be fooled :-). Please pray for safe travels for us both, the success of the Gospel, Holy Spirit-inspired opportunities to exalt Christ, anointed events in Ohio, strong backs and happy hearts (for the girls traveling with me), keeping current with regular Bible reading while on the road, and a carpe diem way of looking at each day. And, oh yes… a relaxing, refreshing time for Ken and his buddies!
