My Favorite “Freeway” Music

While Ken was on a ministry trip last week, my traveling partner, Careen, was in town to help out – every time we climbed into the van and headed down the 101 Freeway to Joni and Friends, we made it a ‘sanctuary of praise,’ singing to God at the top of our lungs! Our preferred cut on the CD playlist? No doubt, it was my favorite old Anglican hymn “Rejoice, the Lord is King!” But this rendition sounds nothing like my childhood in the Reformed Episcopal Church – click on the video below and enjoy Tommy Walker giving it an upbeat, fresh, new sound while honoring those timeless lyrics and melody. Then… tell me what you think here on my blog!
