About 10 years ago is when I first heard of Joni and started listening to her. Her voice so calm and firm with her unwavering trust in God and his plan for her life despite the fact that she struggles within her physical body. Her show waa especially encouraging in helping me deal with the issues I had with my daughter who has cerebal palsey and who is deaf

I've been listening to Joni's radio program for a little over a year now. I have a disabling condition that does not allow me to read for very long or study/think for very long without excruciating pain. But I still know that the word of God is my source of truth and healing and to be able to listen to snippets of truth that come from a woman who has suffered and endured helps me to refocus my mind each day on the Lord. Thank you so much Joni for your faithfulness in so many ways!!!

Due to chronic illness and medications, I deal with what is commonly known as "brain fog." Sometimes my lack of concentration makes it difficult to read my daily devotions. Joni's short radio segments are easy for me to comprehend and gain much needed encouragement and insight. Thank you Joni for your uplifted messages!

I'm the mother of a 24 yr old carjacking victom my daughter is now a quadriplegic and a friend of my bought me Joni's books and I've been reading them all the time. Joni has giving me in sight on the feeling s of someone in that situation from all points of views. I am so much more understanding of my daughters injury and treatments and Joni has giving me the encouragement I need to encourage my daughter to use this injury to help and inspire others as well. I tell everyone at Sheperds spine hospital Joni's story and encourage patients as well as their families to read and join Joni and friends. Thank you Joni

OK maybe i can't win because it wasn't the radio show specifically- but i heard her at a woman's conference in the Detroit area. It was maybe 18 years ago... and it was right after she had taken some time off because of pain. I don't remember the exact reason. But i remember her honesty.. and her tears. I had no idea how it would affect me but since then I have had a child who was born with disabilities. I often draw back to that moment. I don't hear her that much on the radio but i do listen from time to time when i see her on FB. We also did a family camp with our son.

Hi, I've read Joni's first book, "Joni" when I was 16. (I'm 55 now). Your book became my 2nd bible. I carried it in my purse reading it over and over, underlining things that spoke to me. In listening to your program I have always experienced a spark of hope. I've been through a lot and your words encourage me to go on. To keep lifting my head. To keep getting back up again. Whether I win or not, no big, I'm glad to have the opportunity to let you know that your life, your suffering, is an encouragement to me and I know to millions of others. The Lord Jesus bless you and Ken. 💝💖💝💐🌷🌹🌺🌻

Dear Joni, because of hearing your testimony in Youtube, God has put a desire for me to start a special needs ministry in my country. (Albania). Even though im only 18 years old im going to study speech and language therapy so that I could help those with disabilities. You were the person God used in my life to convince me I should minister to those people. I pray every night that in a fee years my dream will come true. Blessings Sindi

I never met Joni 💞. I truly believes the family camps are truly meaningful ,You expect not knowing what's going to happen & what's in front of you. The staff at any camp site it's true warm hearted . The camps are meant for all disabilities, not just to cupple. We've had our experienced Menifee years ago. We were so blessed to be there . Our son Andrew has Cerebral palsy , he's been challenged with a lot . Pluse Andrew has overcome a lot . We're blessed that we could go. Not want to be a burden to my brothers family , they we're grateful enough to pay for the three of us . Where now we can't go because of the expense . That is why this organization is very blessed to get your donation. May you feel the nudge of Christ - hand 🙏🏻💞,that families like mine really get a lot out of the camp . May Christ keep on Blessing Joni and family and the camps Sincerely Lori. Diaz

Spending four minutes a day with Joni Eareckson Tada is a real treasure. I have cerebral palsy, and I use a wheelchair. I’m 34. Listening to her radio program is a highlight in my day. Her broadcasts have inspired me to teach, minister, and write. I’m the author of a children’s book and I have a Blog. I teach kids in the Awana program at my church and I’m always quoting Joni’s sayings with the kids such as, “I’d rather be in this wheelchair knowing Him, than on my feet without Him.” I grew up in a Christian home. Joni has re-enforced the values my mother has taught me like, “Focus on what you can do.” Joni and her radio program have had such an impact on my life, as my writing advances, I’m trying to make my writing similar to hers. I want to have the same impact on special needs families she’s had on me. Not only do I volunteer at church, I also volunteer at my local hospital. I share Joni’s story all the time and tell people how she paints with her mouth. She doesn’t give up. When I think of Joni, I think of Philippians 4:13 where it says, “I can do everything through him who gives me strength!”
