If you're looking to learn more about disability ministry, or wish to strengthen the disability ministry already at your church, then the F.U.S.E. conference is for you. It's scheduled for October 19-20 in Columbus, Ohio -- so if you live in the Midwest, make plans to join us! The conference will focus on four key areas:
Foundations of Bioethics
Unseen Disabilities/Mental Health
Social Action and Church Advocacy
Equipping for Disability Ministry
Be ready to learn some of the cutting edge models of disability ministry happening across the U.S., including developing an outreach to families dealing with mental illness, and understanding the special challenges faced by Asian and African-American communities. Also, I will be giving a special message by video, so please make plans to be a part of the F.U.S.E. conference sponsered by our Joni and Friends team in Ohio.
