Earlier this summer, I had the privilege of joining Pastor Chuck Swindoll for a Sunday morning interview at Stonebriar Church in Frisco, Texas. Chuck and I have known each other since the 1970’s, but this was the first time we actually sat down together and talked – and it was, for me, a glorious time of fun and fellowship. I hope you’ll be blessed by the interview, and then share it with your Facebook friends!

Joni, thank you for this. A beautiful interview...inspiring, convicting, transparent. The Lord has been speaking lately about bitter roots so I particularly leaned in for this part. Holy Spirit, thank you for the way you work!! Love to you, Joni. And what a sweet relationship with Chuck Swindoll. Truly lovely.

This interview will make you laugh and cry. God is so good! I praise Him for his work in you, Joni and through Christ in you. Thank you for serving Him with all! I was truly blessed by this interview, I loved the suggestion to have a sense of humor and to sing. You are not wasting your suffering, but thanking Him for it, WOW PTL, may this be contagious to others.

What a wonderful interview, Joni. It was so uplifting. I love it when you break into song. And I also loved the song that was sung for you. God Bless, Love, Shelley

Love this interview. So encouraging. I have been feeling sorry for myself lately for a variety of reasons. Please pray for me.

I love how you incorporate hymns into your talks. It makes the truths stick in my heart and bubble back up when those hymns come back to the front.
