You have been ministering to me since I was a young mom and I played your records to hear you sing as my two little ones played (my daughter is in her latter 30's now!). I just watched your TV video on marriage and also this Christmas message and I cried tears of gratitude and joy that the Lord would allow us the utmost joy and strength in viewing and listening to your daily witness to His great grace. You and Ken reflect His glory in ways that are uniquely powerful. They help me be a better 'me'. Thank you for who you are in Christ and your ministry to all of us!

You have encouraged me for years, Joni. Thank you for humbling yourself in His mighty and loving hand, because He has used you to help me find Him at a number of significant junctures in my life. Thank you, sister.

I just joined Joni and Freinds today. I was encouraged by watching your Christmas memory video. It made me smile, something I have not done much of my entire life. I will be visiting your web site often and seeking the Lord with all my heart. Thank you for letting God work through your life and being willing to share your walk with us.

One of my many favorite memories...was as I lay in a comma after being in a horrific motorcycle accident. The Lord was right at my side...and I walked with Him. When I asked if i could have one more day, He asked me why...and I told Him that I wanted to be sure my baby son was in a safe place. I woke up right then and there, after being in a coma for five days. The feeling during the short walk...was so amazing I'll never worry about the here after again. We are so loved, Merry Christmas, Toni

I enjoyed hearing about your singing at the train depot. This reminded me that there are so many who need a friend to care. Christ has a lot for each of us to do. We need to be deligent to listen to His calling. Merry Christmas nd Happy 2012.

I love your story, Joni! What a wonderful Christmas gift that gruff guard unknowingly gave you :) I have a similar story, although it didn't take place at Christmas. I was born with spina bifida, and I, too, am confined to a wheelchair. One day, I answered a phone call for my teenage sister. Since she wasn't home, her friend and I started talking. I had met him once before but he didn't remember me. When I told him that I am in a wheelchair, he was flabbergasted! "YOU'RE in a WHEELCHAIR?!" he said. "You sure don't SOUND like you're in a wheelchair." When I asked him what he thought I should sound like, he answered in a trembling, old-lady-type voice. It was hilarious and a wonderful gift for me :)
