Wheels for the World Infographic

Together through Wheels for the World, we have changed the lives of thousands of children and adults living with disability. Because of your generosity this year, the Gospel has been shared with more than 6,300 people along with the precious gift of mobility! Wheels for the World is not simply about “dropping off a wheelchair.” It’s about changing the hearts, minds, and lives of people affected by disability. Since 1994, lives have been transformed as Joni and Friends has collected, restored, and distributed more than 90,000 wheelchairs to people affected by disability. And in 2013, with 23 outreaches in 16 countries, even more lives will be changed! You can get involved in 2013… pray for teams serving as short term missionaries, donate to support a team, or go (2013 signups are now available)! Thank you for all that you do to reach families affected by disability with the love of Christ!

Thank you to all of you at Wheels for the World who work so hard to show the love of God to so many people every year. I can hardly even begin to imagine how excited a child must be when he/she receives their first, longed for wheelchair. It must be like a decade of Christmases and birthdays all rolled into one. God bless you all richly through 2013 and give you all the strength you need to carry on this vital work.

Dear Joni, God usually works by means of those who want to serve the Lord in spread- ing the Good News of the gospel. And JAF are a tool in God's hands to glorify His Name on the earth. The heart of God is full of mercy to- wards those who are weak and hum- ble like the orphan and the widow.See Ex 22:22.
