Chair Corps team in the Inland Empire

Providing wheelchairs to people with disabilities around the world is possible because of hundreds of dedicated Chair Corps volunteers who serve across the United States. Chair Corps volunteers provide local drop-off sites for used wheelchairs, walkers, crutches and canes, making it easy for anyone in their local community to donate mobility equipment to Wheels for the World. Recently, our Chair Corps representatives in the Inland Empire of California collected their 2000th wheelchair and the whole team of volunteers got together to celebrate this incredible milestone! Chair Corps Representative, Jeannette presented the team with certificates, recognizing all their hard work and service to Christ. She said, “After 5 years of reaching out to the community and local businesses, this chapter has begun to build recognition and strong relationships that help us in the Wheels for the World mission to change lives.”

If you’d like to get involved by donating mobility equipment, sponsoring a wheelchair drive, or becoming a Chair Corps representative in your area, visit our Wheels for the World page!
