KenOn December 13th, my husband Ken Tada will turn 70 years old – yikes! And he’s not exactly thrilled about this milestone. I thought it would encourage him to receive birthday cards or little notes from you friends. Maybe a favorite Bible verse, or applaud his fly fishing skills, assure him of your prayers, or thank him for taking good care of me, or tell him he’s looking great for his age (which he really is)!

CelesteUsually when I wheel from my office to the studio to record Joni and Friends radio programs, I pass by Celeste, one of our faithful volunteers. A couple of recording sessions ago, I invited her in to the control room to listen in, as well as pray for me and the radio team. Wow, were her prayers a big source of encouragement! Last month, right before I started recording she said, “Joni, I am praying Deuteronomy 33:25 over you: “As your days, so shall your strength be.” That was exactly what my lungs, body, and voice needed – heaven-sent strength...
