The academic team in our CID - Ben, Steve, and KathySay hello to the wonderful academic team in our Christian Institute on Disability – Dr. Ben Rhodes to the left, Steve Bundy (managing director of the CID) and Dr. Kathy McReynolds. These three are working 'overtime' this week as they help lead our "Beyond Suffering" Intensive. We have 26 students signed up attending from six different states. It's five days of hard-hitting classwork before many of the students head to our Murrieta Hot Springs Family Retreat to practice hands-on ministry. I'll be speaking to the class today, sharing my heart and showing these students the Scriptures that God used to change my life. Consider signing up for a future "Beyond Suffering" class – visit our Christian Institute on Disability page for details.

What a remarkable woman you are. I suffered for 10 years with a chronic bladder disease, interstitial cystitis, and I became very depressed and withdrawn. I am currently in remission. I think it is wonderful that we have the internet and can now correspond with others. God Bless You

I just want Joni to know that she has inspired me to teach exceptional kiddos. I was studying to be a high school english teacher, when I had a heart attack and bypass surgery at age 30. I had to be showered and helped with everything. My husband and I had only been married a year, bless his heart! It was through the recovery that I realized how precious EVERY life is. I was no less valuable or loved by being weak and needing physical help. I want to dedicate my life to brining honor and dignity to exceptional kids, while I teach them. This started penetrating my heart after hearing Joni speak at a conference. Something has stirred in my heart ever since. Joni, thank you for being public with your life. You made me think about the value of EVERY life and what each child has to offer, Our Creator is so wise! Thank you for your words on our culture and suffering!

Praise God for your life Joni. You are such an inspiration. We have a 6 foot swim pool and we try and use if for God's glory by allowing swim fellowships for our youth and children from church, but we share your story of what happened to you alot. We do not allow any diving. Much love to you and praying for you as you continue to bring honor and glory to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Blessings
