A Big Birthday “Thank You!”

Giuseppe, owner of my favorite Italian restaurant, just dropped by moments ago to bring a tiramisu birthday cake – yum! Today is my birthday and I am praising God for His grace that has brought me this far, all the way to 63! I’m breaking all sorts of spinal-cord injury statistics, and I credit it all to God’s amazing grace :-). And I want to thank you for responding to Ken’s invitation to ‘celebrate’ with me through your gift of $63 to Joni and Friends – so many of you responded and I was overwhelmed by your comments and congratulations! I can’t help but think of all the many more people with disabilities who will be reached for Christ through our efforts together – what a gift! Again, many thanks!
