People who inspire are usually those who are able to push you to reach higher, further, and longer – especially spiritually. My friend Bernadette Todd does just that. Born in Jamaica, Bernadette's muscular dystrophy caused her much pain and shame in her early years (she was even taken to a voodoo doctor for a healing potion). It's a miracle that she even survived all the abuse and mistreatment. But she had determination, and Bernadette would not allow her disabling condition to rule her life – through perseverance, she found Christ, as well as a new life encouraging others to view their limitations from God's point of view. She and her husband Jeff now travel all over the world telling the Good News of Jesus Christ. Discover more about this remarkable woman.
