Ananda is a vibrant young man, recently disabled in an accident. Hearing Joni’s story at a Wheels for the World outreach, his heart opened. “I’ve struggled to understand what will become of my life,” he shared. “Joni has inspired me to give myself to Christ – my future, my heart, my life. My hope is now in Him.” State Assemblyman Charles Dorborkoe brought Ananda and 20 other disabled people from his district to Joni and Friends’ outreach. As the Gospel was shared, Charles’ own heart was deeply touched. “Today I have seen the love of Jesus through Joni and Friends that compels me to come to Jesus Christ fully. Through you, God is empowering me to not only be an advocate for the disabled in my District, but to be an advocate for Christ there as well.”
