APU’s Disability Awareness Week
Few things get me more excited than seeing students embrace people with disabilities. It’s why I am delighted to learn of Azusa Pacific University’s first annual Disability Awareness Week, with main events on March 2 and 4. Students and members of the community will gain new perspective on disabilities and learn more about how we all — disabled or not — are created in the image of God. And you won’t want to miss it — with guest speakers like Travis Davis, an English major and wheelchair basketball player, and Mario Ferrante, a talented musician and teacher who contracted polio as an infant. So, for more information and to RSVP, visit the APU website.
