Ken and Joni giving a thumbs upEarlier this week I had my final PET scan in my five-year treatment program since undergoing surgery in June, 2010 to remove stage III breast cancer. Ken and I just received results from the scan, and it shows "no evidence of disease." I've now reached the five-year mark, and my oncologist has declared me cancer-free...

Doors for the Gospel are opening up in Cuba as never before. This brief video of our recent Wheels for the World distribution in Cuba was broadcast on Cuban National Television – they even mentioned that Joni and Friends is a Christian ministry. I'm so grateful to God that we can not only deliver wheelchairs in Cuba, but distribute Bibles and introduce special-needs families to Jesus Christ! Even if you don't know...

Ryan — who is blind, severely developmentally disabled, and is fed through a tube — is the son of Doug Mazza, President...

Father and son reading their new Bible togetherWhat is the most precious gift you own? For 10-year-old Julius and his father living in Uganda, their gift is one that may surprise you… Born with spina bifida, life with disability was a struggle each day for Julius and his family, and their need for a wheelchair was great. Soon Julius was carefully fitted into his first wheelchair. But the greatest gift Julius received that day was his very own Bible… in his native language! When his father learned he would receive a Bible for his family, he was overwhelmed with joy — almost the same...

Volunteers collecting wheelchairs for Wheels for the WorldDo you know what happens to a wheelchair after it’s donated to our Wheels for the World ministry? You make ministry happen at Joni and Friends Area Ministries, located throughout the United States.
