10 Truths About Autism

As the month for Autism Awareness comes to an end, we’d like to share this helpful article from Pat Verbal, Senior Manager of Curriculum Development at Joni and Friends. The challenge for the Church is to stay aware of what we need to do to make our churches welcoming and loving places for ALL children. In “10 Vital Truths About Autism” Pat points out that while social services can help families affected by autism “they can’t lead parents and children to Jesus. That’s our opportunity.” Enjoy and thank you to our friends at Children’s Ministry Magazine for letting us share this article.
